Troh-jil´ee-uhm
A small peninsula jutting out from the west coast of Asia Minor just north of the east end of Samos. The strait thus formed is less than a mile across. Some (but not all) ancient manuscripts list it as a stopover for the itinerary of Paul’s third missionary journey (
