Jonathan Ben-Dov is professor of Bible and Second Temple literature in Tel Aviv University, Israel. His fields of interest are the Bible and the ancient Near East, Qumran Scrolls and Jewish apocalypses, ancient calendars and astronomy, and the history of the biblical text. He is author of Head of All Years (Brill, 2008) and coeditor of The Construction of Time in Antiquity (Cambridge University Press, 2017) along with many other books and articles.
