Spayn

A large peninsula in southwestern Europe known since Roman times as Hispania. Spain is mentioned in the Bible only in (Rom 15:24, Rom 15:28), as the intended western horizon of Paul’s mission. The NT does not say, however, whether Paul ever fulfilled his hope of preaching there.
