Sosipater

Soh-sip´uh-tuhr

A Jewish Christian who, with Timothy, Lucius, and Jason (all except Timothy are referred to as “my relatives”), joins Paul in sending greetings in Rom 16:21). Perhaps he was the same person as Sopater of Beroea, who accompanied Paul through Macedonia as he prepared for his last trip to Jerusalem (Acts 20:4).
