Solomon’s servants

Foreign slaves used for menial tasks in Solomon’s Temple (Ezra 2:55; Ezra 2:58; Neh 7:57; Neh 7:60; Neh 11:3). They were similar in function to the Nethinim (Ezra 8:20), who helped the Levites after the exile (586 BCE).
