Shi´hor

A body of water “east of Egypt” (Josh 13:3) or near the Nile (Isa 23:3) that served as a reference for the southern edge of Israel (1Chr 13:5). The northern parts of the Pelusiac or Bubastite branches of the Nile in the eastern Delta are most likely meant.
