1 A town of Judah in the Shephelah (Josh 15:36); it was somewhere near Azekah in or near the Wadi es-Sant (1Sam 17:52). 2 The Simeonite city of (1Chr 4:31). It may be the Sharuhen of (Josh 19:6).
