pin

A short, pointed shaft. A pin is mentioned in (Judg 16:13-14), where it apparently designates the -hort, pointed stick used to beat up the weft in a loom. The same Hebrew word translated “pin” in these verses is elsewhere rendered “peg” (Exod 27:19; Ezek 15:3), and “trowel” (Deut 23:13).
