Fee´bee

The first of the twenty-seven people greeted by Paul in (Rom 16); the first of the nine (or possibly ten) women included in the greetings. The fact that she is the first person greeted indicates her prominence in Christian circles, and her commendation by Paul probably means she was entrusted with the delivery of Paul’s letter to the Christians in Rome.
