King’s Valley, The

The valley of Shaveh in (Gen 14:17-18) where Abraham met the king of Sodom and also Melchizedek. In (2Sam 18:18) it is the location of Absalom’s monument near Jerusalem. It is probably the Kidron Valley just east of that city.
