King’s Garden


The royal gardens in Jerusalem, situated in the tract before the confluence of the Kidron and Hinnom valleys and irrigated by the Siloam Pool and En-rogel. From the City of David, the gardens were reached by descending the steps from the Fountain Gate (Neh 3:15). Through this exit, King Zedekiah fled besieged Jerusalem in 586 BCE (2Kgs 25:4).
