The name of a royal eunuch appointed to attend Queen Esther. She dispatched him to Mordecai to find out what was happening and why (Esth 4:5), which he did (Esth 4:6). He then reported to Esther (Esth 4:9) and subsequently returned with her message for Mordecai (Esth 4:10).
