A city in the lowlands of Judah noted for its royal potters (Josh 15:36; 1Chr 4:23). It was also the home of Jozabad, one of David’s warriors (1Chr 12:4), and of Baal-hanan, an agricultural official under David (1Chr 27:28). The site is unknown.
