The author of Chronicles may call him Eliphal, son of Ur (1Chr 11:35). 3 A descendant of Saul and Jonathan, the third son of Eshek (1Chr 8:39). 4 The son of Adonikam, a leader returned from the Babylonian exile (Ezra 8:13; 1Esd 8:39). 5 The son of Hashum, husband of a foreign woman (Ezra 10:33; 1Esd 9:33).
