Kris´oh-lit

A magnesium iron silicate usually colored olive green, but it may also be yellow, as in (Rev 21:20). In Ezekiel, it is a gemstone decorating the envisioned chariot wheels (NRSV: “beryl,” Ezek 1:16; Ezek 10:9; cf. Ezek 28:11). It is the seventh gemstone adorning the wall of the new Jerusalem (Rev 21:20).
