cart

Or wagon, a term denoting either a two- or four-wheeled vehicle drawn by oxen or other animals. It was used for transporting people and things. A cart was used to transport the Ark of the Covenant into Jerusalem (1Sam 6:7-14; 2Sam 6:3; and 1Chr 13:7). Several passages (Isa 28:27; Isa 28:28; Amos 2:13) refer to the cart in its agricultural uses. See also (Gen 45:19, Gen 45:21, Gen 45:27; Gen 46:5; Num 7:3-8 (NRSV: “wagons”).
