Kaf´tuh-rim

The designation of a group of people described in the Table of Nations (Gen 10:14; 1Chr 1:12) as the descendants of Egypt and connected with the descendants of Ham. They are elsewhere identified with the Philistines, who inhabited the southern coastland of Canaan north of Egypt (Deut 3:23; Amos 9:7).
