Bethphage

Beth´fuh-jee; Heb., “house of unripe figs”

A village apparently on the Mount of Olives, near Bethany, where Jesus sent his disciples to procure an ass for his triumphal entry into Jerusalem (Matt 21:1; Mark 11:1; Luke 19:29). Its exact location has never been determined.
