Beth-anath

Beth-ay´nath; Heb., “temple of Anat [a deity]”

A walled Canaanite city in the territory of Naphtali in upper Galilee (Josh 19:38) whose inhabitants the Israelites could not expel but subjugated as servants (Judg 1:33).
