Bee´lee-uhr

A name for Satan that appears in (2Cor 6:15) and is frequently used in other Jewish literature of the period. It is a variant of the name Belial (Heb., “wickedness,” “worthlessness”), which is used for Satan in the Dead Sea Scrolls.
