1 Identification given to Hushai, adviser to David (2Sam 15:32; 2Sam 16:16; 2Sam 17:5; 2Sam 17:14; 1Chr 27:33). Hushai spied on Absalom and the priests Zadok and Abiathar. 2 A territory associated with Ataroth, a boundary location between Benjamin and Ephraim (Josh 16:2), possibly identical with Ataroth-addar (Josh 16:5).
