Ancient of Days

An expression used three times (Dan 7:9, Dan 7:13, Dan 7:22) to designate the divine judge in Daniel’s eschatological vision of the four beasts. The expression conveys the qualities of wisdom and venerability that one who is “advanced in days” would possess.
