Janelle Peters teaches at Loyola Marymount University. Her undergraduate honors thesis was supervised by David Goodblatt at University of California-San Diego. She received her A.M. from the Divinity School at the University of Chicago and her PhD from Emory University. She is the author of Paul and the Citizen Body: Egalitarian Athletics and Veiling Instructions in 1 Corinthians (Mohr Siebeck, 2022).
