He prophesied to King Jehoshaphat (ca. 874–850 BCE) that he would not need to fight the invading allied armies of Edom, Moab, and Ammon because God would fight for him. The armies were destroyed in the Valley of Beracah after they began fighting with each other (2Chr 20:1-30). 5 The father of an unnamed (Ben-jahaziel?) member of the clan of Shecaniah who returned with Ezra from the Babylonian captivity (Ezra 8:5).
