Ahira

Uh-hi´ruh

The son of Enan of the tribe of Naphtali (Num 1:15). Ahira is mentioned four additional times in Numbers as one of Moses’s assistants. He helped take the census (Num 2:29), made offerings (Num 7:78); (Num 7:83), and formed part of the rear guard (Num 10:27) when the tribe moved from Sinai.
