Uh-duhl´uhm

An ancient settlement, most likely Tell esh-Sheikh Madkur in the Judean hills about five miles south of Beth-shemesh. Nearby is a cave where David and his early followers camped (1Sam 22:1). The site was fortified by Rehoboam to strengthen Judah during the early years of the Divided Kingdom (2Chr 11:7).
