Achaicus

Uh-kay´uh-kuhs

A Christian from Corinth who, with Stephanas and Fortunatus, was with Paul in Ephesus when he wrote 1 Corinthians (1Cor 16:17). The three apparently brought information to Paul concerning the condition of the church in Corinth and perhaps were the bearers of the letter mentioned in (1Cor 7:1). They may also have carried 1 Corinthians back to Corinth.
